The Cut

Formed in 1989, The Cut were a hard gigging band in the south-East of England and enjoyed a good support from local headbangers. The original line up was Whitty (vocals), Bud (Guitar), Jase (Bass) & Andy (Drums). The Cut were due to share the stage with Saxon & Uriah Heep at the 91 Powerhouse Festival, but the day were scuppered by a last minute cancellation by the organisers. The previous year’s Megalomaniacal World Tour was much more successful and a live video was recorded during the tour (see our YouTube channel)

The Cut played hard rocking music entrenched in the traditions of British heavy music from the 70s & 80s – heavy guitars and well crafted song. Think about bands like Thin Lizzy, Magnum, Diamond Head & Whitesnake and you’ll be on the right path.

The remastered version of For The Money is now available from all major streaming sites.
